Duties

My main rôle is networking and computing support and system administration, and desktop and group videoconferencing support and liaison, for 789 bet and the Experimental Particle Physics (PPE) Research Group.

I serve on the departmental IT Strategy and Implementation Group (ITSIG)

University Committees

I served on the Information Users Committee (IUC), and on several of the working parties which were formed after the restructuring.

National and International

I am a long-standing member of the Particle Physics Network Coordinating Group (PPNCG) with specific interests in network monitoring and performance, and more recently in videoconferencing.
I am also active in the UK HEP System Managers (SysMan) group and mailing list.
